A new initiative to help business managers and directors ‘see the
bigger picture’ is being pioneered by AnsonHG.
The Manchester-based strategy consultancy specialising in small- medium enterprises is introducing the programme to give its clients effective tools to enable them to balance both long term strategy with day-to-day management, to optimise business performance.
Managing Director Rob Buckley observes, “There are times when everyone needs help, but when you are a small or medium sized operation, it can be difficult to see the wood from the trees. Our role is to help clients see the potential and risks associated with their business, and enable them to implement changes for business and personal success.
“We believe that personal development is the essence to success is: it’s not how good you are, it’s how good you want to be! We have devised the fast-track strategy development programme for high performance individuals, to equip them to drive their business forward and inject new life into the enterprise.

Rob, who lives in Willan’s Scholars Rise in Bolton, founded AnsonHg to enable smaller companies to benefit from strategy consultancy- usually the preserve of large conglomerates. Now studying for the Institute of Directors’ Diploma in Company Direction- a prerequisite of becoming a Chartered Director (the highest qualification available for a company director), he already has an executive MBA and degree from UMIST, coupled with international management roles. “I have had a successful career combining applied learning and ‘hands on’ experience,” he says. “I always wanted to run my own business, and am now able to bring that expertise and strategic overview to help others.”
