Willan goes “Green” in the city

Progessive independent property company Willan has announced the £multi-million purchase of a prominent Manchester office park.

The company’s investment arm, Willan Investments, has acquired the 40,883 sq ft Greenwood Office Park on the M602/A57/A5063 junction in a deal worth £3million, to add a further dimension to Willan’s industrial and commercial offering in the region, and enable small-medium businesses to optimise their location and overheads.

Greenwood Office Park currently provides offices ranging from 1,052- 14,149 sq ft in two x two-storey and one x three-storey ‘Secured by Design’ accredited buildings set in gardens and accessed via a gated entrance, just minutes from the new Media City site.

Willan’s initial plans include refurbishing the few available units to provide suites upwards of 600 sq ft, available on competitive rents, and upgrading the management of the buildings and site to optimise service for existing tenants.

The new acquisition extends Willan’s portfolio that currently covers office and industrial units in locations stretching from Rochdale to Warrington and from Sale to Nantwich.
